Face masks are recommended, but NO LONGER REQUIRED in the office, in accordance with the latest recommendations by The Centers For Disease Control (CDC).

NYS has begun a construction project, which is expected to cause delays on Route 17 at Exit 122. This is expected through the end of 2026. Please check traffic reports and leave ample time when planning your trip to the office.

 

 

Additionally, We ask that all new patients arrive at least 15 minutes (ideally 30 minutes) before your scheduled appointment time, in order to complete the check-in process.  If you are an established patient who has not been seen for one year or more, please arrive 15 minutes early to update your information.

Welcome to our practice, specializing in Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus and General Ophthalmology for all ages.

Dr. Sauer is a native of Long Island and has resided in New York State nearly his entire life. He completed his undergraduate education at SUNY-Binghamton with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, in addition to completing his pre-med requirements. He attended medical school at Downstate Medical Center, graduating cum laude, and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the national honor society for medical schools.  Read more..

The practice is conveniently located at 75 Crystal Run Road, suite 104A in Middletown, minutes from I-84 and Route 17 (Exit 122).  The office offers ample parking and ground floor office access making it wheelchair accessible.
